January 8, 2014 - Exlar adds 75 mm Frames to Tritex II Linear Actuator. With forces to 1035 lbf continuous and 2075 lbf peak, the AC powered 75 mm linear actuator with its 1.5kW servo amplifier delivers both power and speed in a small package. Tritex II Series Integrated Actuators combine a brushless servo motor with an AC or DC powered servo drive, digital position controller, and linear or rotary actuator. All elements are assembled into a single, compact waterproof housing.
Tritex actuators with their built-in mechanical converters eliminate the need for traditional ball screw or gear reducer mechanisms providing a complete system solution. Incorporating all the required position control and power electronics into the actuator also eliminates the external servo amplifier and the cables associated with a typical servo system. Multiple feedback types, including absolute feedback, allow the user to select the system best-suited for the application. Digital and analog I/O plus popular communication networks such as Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP, PROFINET IO and CANopen allow the Tritex II to become an integral part of your control architecture or machine control processes.
Tritex II linear actuators provide the same form factor as hydraulic and pneumatic actuators, and provide for simple and clean all-electric retrofits in what were formerly fluid power applications. They are available with many different mountings (metric or imperial) such as front flange, rear clevis mount, side mount, trunnion mount, extended tie rod, and rear flange.
