February 4, 2010 – Fiberguide Industries has received ISO 9001:2008 certification for establishing and maintaining a quality management system for manufacture of fiber optic assemblies and optical fiber.The certificate was awarded by third party registrar, TÜVRheinland, after Fiberguide’s facility passed the registrar’s auditing process. ISO 9001:2008 is an internationally recognized certification, which ensures that a manufacturing facility meets a rigorous and comprehensive set of requirements dictated by the International Standards Organization (ISO).Fiberguide Industries, Inc. manufactures a comprehensive line of standard and custom high optical transmission fibers, OEM assemblies and ultra precision arrays.
The company is a part of the global Halma technology group, which also includes photonics specialists Ocean Optics, a leader in spectroscopy and optical thin films; and Labsphere, a recognized expert in the light metrology field. FDA registered as a Contract Manufacturer and Custom Device Manufacturer, Fiberguide’s corporate and optical fiber manufacturing facilities are located in Stirling, New Jersey, with a manufacturing/assembly facility in Caldwell, Idaho.
