16 December, 2004
1 min read

Austin, TX; December 14, 2004 - The Fieldbus Foundation today announced the creation of "User's Corner." Part of Fieldbus Forums, the User's Corner is a convenient, web-based interface to the latest FOUNDATION fieldbus end user stories, successes and references. User's Corner will allow the end user community to gain knowledge from their counterparts. End users will be able to exchange FOUNDATION technology experiences, share installation stories, discuss benefits, savings, and more.

By establishing the User Corner, the Fieldbus Foundation continues its tradition of openly sharing knowledge and experiences related to fieldbus technology.Ian Verhappen, chairman of the Fieldbus Foundation End User Advisory Council and director of ICE-Pros, Inc. stated, "The User's Corner forum is an excellent addition to Fieldbus Forums. The venue allows end users to share their insights in greater detail.

This will build a broader knowledge base around the world." This searchable knowledge-base community is open to both members and non-members. Anyone wanting to share their experiences with the technology is welcome. The stories will have an end user focus and will not be host-oriented unless the host content greatly contributed to the overall project.

Entries will also appear in the foundation's monthly e-newsletter, Fieldbus Facts Online, starting with the upcoming December 2004 issue. To post or access end user success stories, please visit www.fieldbus.org . See forum rules for submission guidelines.

For more information, e-mail [email protected] or call the foundation at (512) 794-8890, ext. 21.
