Highlighting its robotic palletizing and depalletizing capabilities, the company will display an integrated equipment loop at booth C-3513 at the Las Vegas Convention Center September 26-29.The FKI Logistex exhibit will be of special interest to companies who incorporate case depalletizing into their daily operations, including wineries, distilleries and breweries.
The loop showcases the company's ability to gently and accurately depalletize cases of empty glass bottles.The display begins with an articulated-arm robot depalletizing cases of empty bottles by layer using a four-sided compression tool. The layer is placed onto an unscrambler to separate, orient and feed the cases single-file onto a loop of zero-pressure FKI Logistex Accuzone® motorized roller conveyor. The cases are then fed back to the robot for palletization.The FKI Logistex robotic exhibit also features a unique automatic tool change ability.
After depalletizing the layer, the robot releases the depalletizing tool by placing it onto a storage rack, then changes position to grab a palletizing tool.
