Depalletizer automatically removes cans, bottles, and jars from pallets and conveys these containers into production lines.

January 16, 2011 — FleetwoodGoldcoWyard’s Automatic Low Level Bulk Depalletizer automatically removes cans, bottles, and jars (glass and plastic) from pallets and conveys these containers into production lines by utilizing a layer containment device to capture and transfer layers of product from a pallet. Layer pads and top frames are also automatically removed and placed into an easily accessible hopper and empty pallets are automatically stacked. The Automatic Low Level Bulk Depalletizer combines the advantages of bulk container handling with the efficiency and extended durability of FleetwoodGoldcoWyard built equipment. The low level design allows multiple operator tasks. Production attendants can easily and safely monitor the system.

Some of the features and benefits of the Low Level Bulk Depalletizer include a configurable layout allowing the system to be tailored to a client’s floor-space requirements, integral safety package, safeguarding of all access points, automatically senses non-perpendicular loads, layers remain positively supported in all four directions during sweep and lowering cycle and programmable logic controller. In fiscal year 2010, Barry-Wehmiller leveraged a strategic combination of organic and acquisition growth to achieve revenues surpassing $1 billion. Barry-Wehmiller now employs more than 5,500 team members in over 65 locations worldwide.
