February 13, 2012 - FMI’s miniature H Series Pump Heads are now available with an isolation gland to provide a fluid barrier between the pumped process fluid and atmosphere. These pumps are ideal for maintenance-free dispensing of saline based reagents, buffers & wash fluids, slurries, abrasive fluids, fluids with particulates, inks, pigments, anaerobic fluids, dialysate used for hemodialysis, and much more.
Isolation gland pumps have a pair of extra ports which are connected to a fluid source (either liquid or gas). The fluid flowing through the gland ports provides a barrier which isolates the pumped process fluid from the seal area and atmosphere. The isolation gland is easily connected to the “barrier” liquid or gas source via barbed fittings.
H Series Pump Heads can be configured with AC, DC, hazardous duty, pneumatic & stepper, as well as programmable dispensing systems.
