January 31, 2018 – Rosendin Electric, is deploying the Fluke 376 FC True-rms AC/DC Clamp Meter with iFlex and Fluke 1587 FC Insulation Multimeter to all its commissioning teams at mission-critical project sites across the country. Those sites, which include data centers and facilities for social media and technology companies, require technologies and methods to provide reliable, real-time data that can keep up with the pace of those businesses. The first rollout will be at the company’s Reno, Nevada, facility and will feature virtual reality training designed by Rosendin’s building information modeling (BIM) department as part of a true construction workflow. Other company sites will implement the technologies throughout 2018.

The Fluke 376 FC True- rms AC/DC Clamp Meter with iFlex and 1587 FC Insulation Multimeter are enabled by Fluke Connect — a system of more than 40 wireless test tools that communicate using the Fluke Connect Condition Monitoring App, a cloud-based solution that gathers measurements to provide a comprehensive view of critical equipment status. Fluke Connect allows technicians to record and share measurements in real time via their smartphones or tablets and automatically upload them to the cloud. Reports can be created and shared right from the job site via email. Fluke Connect also allows end users to collaborate in real time with other colleagues with ShareLive video calls.
