February 23, 2009 - GAO Fiber Optics offers a series of transceivers specifically designed to be fully compatible with the original NETGEAR transceivers, yet at a much more affordable price point. These high performance and reliable transceivers are widely used to help engineers and technicians to meet challenges encountered in a diverse network of topologies.Compliant with the IEEE 802.3z standard, and possessing 1000BASE-SX hot-swappable functionality, the NETGEAR compatible transceivers can add fiber connectivity for NETGEAR switches such as the FSM750S, FSM726S and FSM726. This series of transceivers emulate the following NEATGEAR models: AGM721F and AGM722F GBICs; AGM731F, AGM732F, and AGM733F SFPs; and AXM751, AXM752 XFPs.
All of GAO’s compatible transceivers have been well tested and subject to stringent quality control procedures.GAO's NETGEAR Compatible Transceivers provide the following features:1. Fully compatible with NETGEAR original products2. Driving 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity at variable distances3. Interoperable with standard 10GBASE-SR, LR, or ER XFP optics4.
High performance and reliability5. Adding fiber connectivity to such NETGEAR switches: FSM750S, FSM726S and FSM726
