May 18, 2016 - Gardasoft Vision Ltd announces that it has been acquired by OPTEX CO., LTD (OPTEX) of Japan and will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of OPTEX.
Gardasoft Vision Limited is based in Cambridge, UK and specialises in the design and manufacture of high performance pulse/strobe controllers for LED lighting and high intensity LED illuminators – providing unique solutions to the global Machine Vision and Intelligent Traffic (ANPR/ALPR) markets. Its most recent innovation, Triniti, is a new enabling technology which provides control, operational intelligence and full integration of machine vision lghting.
The Optex Group is a global solutions providerserving the Factory Automation sector, and with an established business in LED lighting and lighting control systems. Being part of OPTEX will allow Gardasoft Vision Ltd to extend the applications of its Triniti Technology. Both companies are looking to work together to exploit wider product and market synergies.
Fundamentally, the Gardasoft Vision company management structure remains unchanged with Hilary Briggs as MD and Peter Bhagat continuing full time with his product and technology role within the business.
Gardasoft Vision will continue to trade and promote under its existing name and branding.
