DuraLabel 9000 prints 4-9 in. wide signs and labels for pipe marking, safety, machinery and equipment, identification marking, and OSHA safety signs.

February 11, 2009 – The new DuraLabel 9000, now the widest format industrial sign and label printer offered by Graphic Products, Inc., prints on four inch to nine inch width supply. It becomes the latest in the rapidly growing line of DuraLabel brand industrial printers. Designed to print with speeds up to four inches per second, the DuraLabel 9000 thermal transfer printer produces signs and labels for numerous applications including 5S labeling, pipe marking, vehicle identification, directional information, safety information, machinery and equipment, identification marking, and OSHA safety signs. The printer comes bundled with DuraLabel’s Industrial Labeling Software (ILS), which includes a recently updated symbols library with over 350 industrial symbols and pictograms.

Also included in the ILS are a variety of label templates for quick, easy sign and label design. By utilizing a USB, serial, or parallel port, the DuraLabel 9000 works with any Windows NT or newer operating system. An LCD display and six panel buttons on the front of the printer allow for easy menu navigation for printer configuration and adjusting language settings, for example. Engineered for the industrial workplace, some features for the DuraLabel 9000 include:

  • 300 dpi resolution
  • Thermal Transfer / Direct Thermal print mode
  • Compatible with Microsoft Windows NT 4.0®, 2000®, XP®, and Vista®
  • Automatic cutter for clean, precisely cut signs and labels
  • 8MB Flash memory, 32MB SDRAM, SD flash memory card slot
  • USB interface, serial port, parallel port
  • Print speeds up to 4 inches per second
  • Cast aluminum components and core; sheet metal outer casing Continuous vinyl supplies are available in over 30 colors, and ribbons are available in seven different colors.

Vinyl supplies and ribbons are designed to withstand harsh environments often associated with industrial environments, so labels will last a number of years.

Specialty supplies can also be used with the DuraLabel 9000.

Currently, arc flash, RTK, and other die-cut labels are available along with two-color vinyl.
