September 10, 2012 - Gray Matter Systems announced PVK operator interface with GE Intelligent Platforms iFIX embedded. The touch panel computer comes in three sizes – 12”, 15” and 17” – and comes in a Class 1 Div 2 model as well. The PVK includes the GE Intelligent Platform’s IGS OPC Server/Device Driver, which contains more than 75 protocols. The included Proficy Historian data collector can provide a robust and highly reliable plant wide data collection solution when used in conjunction with Proficy Historian. iFIX Embedded’s features include enhanced visualizations, trending and alarming, SPC and e-signature options, dynamic language support, and full scripting support.
Integration with other systems is also delivered with iFIX Embedded – enabling users to connect embedded systems to other peer level systems, line level SCADA, relational databases, MES and or ERP systems. iFIX Embedded includes the capability to act solely as an iClient to iFIX servers or it can operate independently as its own HMI/SCADA server.
