11 May, 2008 - Utrecht - The Netherlands - GreenPeak Technologies opened its United States sales office in Austin, Texas, thereby strengthening its business activities to better serve customers and prospects in the Americas.Barry Blount, Director of Business Development, has been named to head this new office and drive business development in the USA. Mr. Blount brings many years of experience in sales, marketing, engineering and business development in the semi-conductor industry. Prior to his position at GreenPeak, Mr.
Blount worked at Colorado Microcircuits as Director of Sales and Applications where he was responsible for the worldwide sales and applications engineering of advanced ceramic and organic packaging and assembly services for compound semi-conductor devices. He has also held positions at Microtune (Plano), RF Micro Devices, Panasonic and EMS Technologies. Mr. Blount holds a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA."
