September 6, 2011 - The C9405CB miniature spectrometer offers enhanced NIR sensitivity, low etaloning, and high throughput for measuring sugar and acid contents in food, sorting plastic products, measuring film thickness, and other applications. This spectrometer is integrated with optical elements, a back-thinned CCD image sensor with 1024 pixels, and driver circuit. The CCD is sensitive from 500 nm to 1100 nm, with improved sensitivity in the 800-1000 nm region. The C9405CB has a slit measuring 70 (H) x 800 (V) µm, which produces a maximum spectral resolution of 5 nm. Possible integration times range from 10 ms to 10 seconds.
Other features include 16-bit A/D conversion and USB1.1 interface. Its package dimensions are 125.7 (W) x 115.7 (D) x 75 (H) mm.
The small size makes it easy to install the spectrometer into equipment. The C9405CB comes supplied with free evaluation softwar! e that allows users to set measurement conditions, acquire and save data, and display graphs. DLL is also supplied as an accessory item to allow users to configure their own measurement software.
