Hamilton Sundstrand introduces RPM View Raman photometer

11 May, 2009
RPM View is able to measure liquids and slurries, plus H2, Cl2, N2 or O2 and organic chemicals.

May 11, 2009 - Hamilton Sundstrand’s Applied Instrument Technologies (AIT)introduced its RPM View Raman photometer as part of the RPM line of Raman process analyzers. The RPM View photometer’s unique technology features a direct coupled sampling design eliminating the need for expensive fiber optic sampling. In addition to liquids and slurries, the high throughput design also allows the monitoring of process gases providing the ability to measure gaseous diatomic species in a wide variety of chemical compositions. For example, for the first time a single analyzer is able to measure H2, Cl2, N2 or O2 and organic chemicals. These features position the RPM View photometer as an important measurement tool for the chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Pre-calibrated for each application, the RPM View analyzer requires no complex on-line chemometric modeling and is maintenance free. Its small footprint allows for flexible installation locations at the desired measurement point or within an existing analyzer shelter.
