As a joint initiative with the airport company, Hannover Marketing & Tourismus GmbH (HMTG) and the Swiss firm Airport Media International AG, Deutsche Messe will operate a special Travel Service Lounge at the Airport Plaza.

March 4, 2013 - Visitors and exhibitors flying into Hannover to attend any of Deutsche Messe's international tradeshows will now be greeted by at the arrival gate at Hannover-Langenhagen Airport. As a joint initiative with the airport company, Hannover Marketing & Tourismus GmbH (HMTG) and the Swiss firm Airport Media International AG, Deutsche Messe will operate a special Travel Service Lounge at the Airport Plaza starting today, March 1, 2013. There will also be two mobile satellite counters in the arrival areas of Terminals A and C. “The city of Hannover is being very supportive of all of our trade events and is focused on making the visit by international attendees pleasant and productive,” said Larry Turner, CEO of Hannover Fairs USA.

These three reception points will be immediately visible to Deutsche Messe's guests on their arrival at the airport. All will be staffed with HMTG travel consultants who will be able to help with anything, including last-minute hotel or private accommodation bookings or advice on how best to get to the exhibition grounds or the Hannover City Center. "The new lounge and the two satellite counters on the arrivals level will give our guests fast and direct answers to all their questions on accommodation and transport during their stay. This will further enhance the quality of the services provided by HMTG on behalf of Deutsche Messe and the city of Hannover," said Marcus Eibach, Deutsche Messe's Senior Vice President Marketing.

The Travel Service Lounge in the Airport Plaza will also be available to private and business travelers between trade fairs.
