The FHA-C Mini Servo Actuator with multi-turn absolute encoder (MZE), is designed to provide performance for machinery, automation systems and industrial robots in environments prone to electromagnetic interference (EMI).

January 22, 2018 - Harmonic Drive AG is sharing its range of industrial servo actuators with the UK market. The product, the FHA-C Mini Servo Actuator with multi-turn absolute encoder (MZE), is designed to provide performance for machinery, automation systems and industrial robots in environments prone to electromagnetic interference (EMI).

The FHA-C Mini has a specially developed precision output bearing with high tilting capacity, which allows it to directly handle heavy payloads without additional support. The actuator also has a positioning accuracy to ensure short machine cycle-times.

The range includes an MZE, which is mounted directly on the motor shaft at the load for repeated precision over the course of more than 600 revolutions. Positioning data is transmitted using an EnDat 2.2 digital interface module, which consists of a power supply, transceiver and processor all designed to comply with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) regulations.

FHA-C Mini servo actuators are available in three sizes with gear ratios of 30, 50, and 100 capable of transmitting maximum torques between 1.8 and 28 Nm.
