Qualifying engineering programs can have production quality prototypes of custom configurations as quickly as one week from design release. Haydon Kerk has recently invested more than $1 million in manufacturing resources, including quick set-up CNC machinery that allows Haydon Kerk to offer Rapid Prototypes Services for the full range of Kerk products.
These include custom and anti-backlash leadscrew nut designs, fully-machined leadscrews from an inventory of more than 300 diameter and lead combinations, stainless steel spline shafts and guide rails, and more complex guided systems. Haydon kerk offers stainless steel leadscrew assemblies in diameters ranging from Ø2mm (.079”) to Ø24mm (.93”) with dynamic load ratings up to 225kg (500 lbs) in standard materials. All Kerk brand products are maintenance-free and require no adjustment or lubrication.
Haydon Kerk continues to offer excellent lead times on production volumes and other requirements not covered by the Rapid Prototype Services with orders often shipping in four weeks or less.
