April 23, 2014 - HEIDENHAIN hired Julian Renz as TNC Product Specialist, Five-Axis Machining. With double Master degrees, Renz is now on hand to provide customer support on five-axis machining applications including machine set-up, programming and operations that incorporate HEIDENHAIN controls. Born in Germany where Renz obtained his Masters in Management from the University of Mannheim and his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Process Engineering at the Technical University Darmstadt, he has more recently received his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University at Buffalo in New York State.
Now based at HEIDENHAIN’s North American headquarters in Schaumburg, IL as of November 2013, Renz’ training has prepared him as a vital resource in the incorporation of CNCs in the world of five-axis machining. Also, Renz is now positioned as a liaison to the corporate worldwide headquarters in Traunreut, Germany. He is the company’s North American key point-of-contact to transfer product requirements to Germany and handle marketing collaboration.
