Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence announces expanded HTA Measurement solution
The HTA technology packages are designed to deliver reduced measurement cycles and data sets for manufacturers looking to integrate dimensional inspection more effectively into their production processes

October 12, 2017 – Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence announced the expansion of its HTA Measurement solution offering for Aeroengine and Powertrain applications. The HTA technology packages are designed to deliver reduced measurement cycles and data sets for manufacturers looking to integrate dimensional inspection more effectively into their production processes. Based on Hexagon’s patented HP-O optical interferometric sensor technology, HTA solutions provide non-contact scanning a when measuring complex parts such as blisks, gears, camshafts, splines, synchro rings and clutch baskets. The sensor range includes six configurations for the right combination of inspection methods and part accessibility for the targeted application.

The HTA solutions offering follows the release of the GLOBAL Advantage HTA platform for aeroengine blade measurement. This inspection application utilizes the HP-O Multi-sensor to accurately verify blade characteristics including aerofoil, platform, root, shroud and other features. The HTA solutions include an HP-O range sensor and a coordinate measuring machine (CMM) with rotary table for four-axis scanning, as well as the advanced QUINDOS metrology software. The HTA's combination of scanning and data delivery are designed to help meet the productivity goals of manufacturers in automotive, aerospace and other industries.
