December 13, 2016 – Hilscher North America, a provider of industrial network connectivity solutions, announces the appointment of Craig Lentzkow as the IIoT Business Development Manager. In the newly created position, Mr. Lentzkow will be responsible for developing business opportunities for Hilscher’s netIOT Edge Gateways, through partnerships with global Cloud Services companies, large End-User companies, and IT and automation integrators and consultants. The Hilscher netIOT Edge gateways are the factory-floor data collectors for the Industrial Internet of Things, supplying data to cloud-based business analytics software by leveraging existing plant-floor network infrastructure and IIoT data standards such as OPC UA and MQTT.
Mr. Lentzkow brings more than 30 years of experience to the position, having most recently served as a Channel Manager for Hilscher North America. He has held various executive-level sales, marketing and strategy positions with global automation suppliers, such as GE, Rockwell Automation and Wonderware, as well as with IT companies such as IBM. Mr. Lentzkow received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University.
