October 25, 2011 - Honeywell announced its MeterSuite Fiscal metering solution, which is integrated within Experion Process Knowledge System (PKS) to provide full liquid and gas flow calculation for greater cost efficiency, extended lifecycle support and improved control.
Developed in partnership with Swinton Technology, it offers Honeywell Process Solutions’ (HPS) customers the opportunity to carry out all types of metering using a common ”off-the-shelf” and supportable platform without the need for customized hardware and engineering. The two-tiered MeterSuite solution removes an entire layer from the traditional three-tier metering system, by linking directly to a facility’s Distributed Control System (DCS). As a result, there are fewer serial and OPC links to maintain. MeterSuite also uses a single database, contrary to a traditional metering system, further reducing maintenance.
