June 12, 2012 – Honeywell celebrated the success of its key distributors at the annual Channel Partner of the Year awards ceremony. The awards ceremony, part of Honeywell’s Distribution Channel Executive Conference held during the 2012 Users Group Symposium in Phoenix, recognize growth, customer service, innovation and excellence among companies supplying and integrating Honeywell solutions in the Americas. “Honeywell’s channel partners are vital in ensuring our products meet customers’ needs,” said Don Maness, vice president, Honeywell Process Solutions. “In a wide range of industries they provide the product expertise to meet local regulatory and industrial process requirements.”

Two of Honeywell’s top awards this year were the Channel Partner of the Year and the OEM Innovator of the Year Awards. Winning Channel Partner of the Year of the year award was AWC Incorporated, Southeast Division for creatively solving customer problems with Honeywell products. AWC created programs to reduce customer store room inventory with consignment programs, trained customers at their plants with a demo truck equipped with Honeywell products and championed Honeywell OneWireless solutions to help customers overcome field wiring limitations. The OEM Innovation Award went to Keith Company for developing an innovative furnace for technical ceramic applications using Honeywell’s HC900 Controller for precise temperature and process control.

“Honeywell didn’t just have the product that met the technical requirements to develop this solution. As these awards show, it also has the commitment to a spirit of partnership that helps enable innovation to happen,” said Joe Kepner, president, AWC Southeast Division. Other awards this year went to AC Controls Company, for both Process Instruments Channel Partner of the Year and Modular Systems Channel Partner, and AWC Inc. Louisiana for its work with field instruments. Honeywell International is a Fortune 100 diversified technology and manufacturing leader, serving customers worldwide with aerospace products and services; control technologies for buildings, homes and industry; automotive products; turbochargers; and specialty materials.

Based in Morris Township, N.J., Honeywell’s shares are traded on the New York, London, and Chicago Stock Exchanges. Honeywell Process Solutions is part of Honeywell’s Automation and Control Solutions group, a global leader in providing product and service solutions that improve efficiency and profitability, support regulatory compliance, and maintain safe, comfortable environments in homes, buildings and industry.
