Minneapolis, MN., February 2006 — Honeywell’s (NYSE: HON) Sensing and Control Strategic Business Unit today announced an addition to its comprehensive range of electromechanical limit switches. This new GLL limit switch extends Honeywell’s existing line of compact limit switches to include a potential solution for high volume applications.The new GLL limit switch meets Honeywell’s world-class quality and reliability requirements and comes in a compact and lightweight RoHS compliant package at a price that is up to 40% lower than comparable products.Potential OEM applications include elevators, escalators, aerial platform lifts, packaging equipment and industrial doors.
