The RX371 is the most rugged OCS Horner has ever manufactured and is designed for harsh environment use, with its cast aluminum and steel chassis, ruggedized heavy duty function keys and impact resistant Lexan touch screen. Snap-on I/O is provided by up to four metal SmartStack units directly on the back. SmartStix expansion I/O is also supported. The RX371 features a bright new 5.7” QVGA,TFT screen with over 32K colors, and a brightness rating of 700 NITs.
RX371 is fast and has a typical logic scan rate of 0.2mS/K. The RX371 has advanced control capabilities including floating point, multiple auto tuning PID loops and string handling capabilities. In addition, the RX371 features embedded Ethernet and supports many Internet capabilities such as remote data access, programming, hosting HTML-based web pages, and FTP file transfer. Plus, it has a built-in MicroSD memory slot that allows users to easily store machine or process data and screen captures (up to 2GB).
Programs can be updated and loaded through MicroSD…a real advantage for OEMs or those supporting distant sites.The RX371 Color Touch OCS has optional I/O features, too. The base RX371 unit provides control, operator interface, and communication functionality while the optional metal SmartStack or remote SmartStix units provide I/O connectivity. A USB Mini B connector allows easy connection to your PC for programming and interface design using Horner’s free Cscape software. A USB A connector supports data exchange with standard USB flash drives.
Ruggedized features for harsh environments and rigorous use. The RX371 is unique as it has been optimized for enhanced temperature, environmental, shock and vibration protection. Circuit boards are conformally coated, adding a layer of protection. Plus, the touch screen is constructed of Lexan and is impact resistant. All function keys have been designed for 30 Million + operations utilizing magnetic technology.
Function keys have outstanding tactile feel as well. Finally, the RX371 incorporates a metal chassis designed for rigorous use.
