Lomita, Calif. - ICP DAS USA announces the release of a new line in its series of Modbus smart power meters. The PM-4324A Series uses the proven technology of the PM-4324 series, but provides 2 independent circuits for measurements. PM-4324A comes in several variants: first it comes with an RS-485, Ethernet, or CANbus interface; second, it comes in model variants for each COM interface with external current transformers (CTs) that measure current between 60 and 400 amps. The PM-4324A series monitors up to 8 three-phase circuits or 24 single-phase circuits.
The PM-4324A series can measure up to 24 currents via external CTs. This flexibility makes the PM-4324A series perfect for multi-tenant facilities such as residential projects, office buildings, and shopping malls. This compact instrument is designed to easily fit into existing panelboards or to be flush mounted nearby, eliminating the need for expensive retrofit projects or for allocating extra space for the device. The PM-4324A has 2 separate main circuit inputs that can be used in different power systems. This device centralizes Modbus data management, making it easier to establish a stable remote monitoring system; it reduces the Ethernet network traffic load, and enhances system efficiency.
