IDS is using Python CMOS sensors in its USB 3 uEye CP cameras.
February 10, 2016 - IDS is now using Python CMOS sensors in its USB 3 uEye CP cameras. CMOS sensors available include Python 500, Python 2000 and Python 5000 from ON Semiconductor. The sensors are designed to provide high-speed, reaching more than 1,000 fps with AOI feature.
The global shutter sensors of the Python series are available as colour or monochrome version. They include large and light-sensitive pixels with 4.8 µm.
Using the special AOI (Area of Interest) feature with horizontal and vertical read-out, the combination of USB 3 uEye CP camera from IDS and ON Semiconductor sensor reaches a top speed of more than 1,000 fps.
