IEWC appoints Cory McFarlane Managing Director

Cory McFarlane will take the role of Managing Director for IEWC EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa), effective January 1st 2011.

December 1, 2010 - IEWC’s Board of Directors has elected Cory McFarlane to the role of Managing Director for IEWC EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa), effective January 1st 2011.Mr. McFarlane came to IEWC when the later acquired C3 Limited, near Bristol, United Kingdom. C3 Limited, now known as IEWC UK & Ireland, is a wire, cable and wire management distributor that closely mirrors IEWC’s business model. In addition to his 20 years of experience in the industry, Mr.

McFarlane was a founding partner in C3 and negotiated its sale to IEWC. He takes over for the departing Gerald Mueller, who will continue to support IEWC in a consultant capacity. EMEA represents an immense global trading area for IEWC. In addition to its location in the United Kingdom, the company also has a distribution center near Frankfurt, Germany, serving as the headquarters for both IEWC EMEA and Peter Augsten wire & cable, GmbH. In the next five years IEWC looks to capitalize on the strong trading patterns between the United States and the EMEA region, and build on its already strong foundation.
