ProSoft Technology offers an extensive inventory of in-chassis modules for industrial automation applications using Allen-Bradley and Schneider Electric processors. These in-rack devices communicate over the backplane to interface the respective networks with any of over 60 protocols (both client to server and master to slave). ProSoft’s protocol and network connectivity modules include inRAx for Rockwell Automation and ProTalk for Schneider Electric. These devices are designed to connect to a number of networks, including SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and DCS systems (Dedicated Control System).
ProSoft Technology’s core product line is the inRAx family for Rockwell Automation, consisting of in-rack protocol and network connectivity modules for the Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, SLC, CompactLogix, PLC, and FLEX I/O platforms. This growing line of industrial communication solutions includes the most expansive array of connectivity options offered by any partner for Rockwell platforms, with products designed to promote interoperability between dissimilar and remote products. The inRAx family of products link Allen-Bradley platforms to networks or devices using any of over 40 otherwise incompatible protocols, and can be used to add serial, Ethernet, or wireless connectivity to a network.
The inRAx line has several specialty products with advanced functionality including the AGA flow computer, ‘C’ programmable application development module, high-speed PC and in-rack PC with historian, and wireless in-rack modules. ProSoft Technology has been a Rockwell Automation Encompass partner since the inception of the program.
The ProTalk family of in-rack interface modules for the Schneider-Electric Quantum/Unity processor is designed to promote interoperability between the Quantum/Unity processor and dissimilar or remote networks, protocols and devices. ProTalk communication modules are ideal for SCADA and process control applications requiring connectivity to devices using an otherwise incompatible protocol, or to add Ethernet or serial connectivity to a Quantum/Unity processor.
Among the many SE solutions provided by ProSoft Technology are the AGA liquid/gas flow computer, the ‘C’ programmable module, and the PROFIBUS DP Master Module. These ProTalk modules can be used for remote or local applications and in any number of industries. ProSoft Technology is a partner in the Schneider Electric Collaborative Automation Partner Program (CAPP).In-Rack PCs (PC56-HIST) with real-time data Historian capabilities offer:

- Continuous polling of slave devicesProSoft Technology’s primary objective is to provide connectivity solutions that link dissimilar automation products. Over the last 15 years, ProSoft Technology’s product lines have grown to over 400 communication modules supporting more than 60 different protocols. ProSoft Technology provides field-proven connectivity and communication solutions that bridge various automation products as seamlessly as if they were all from the same supplier. These in-chassis modules enable controller to improve efficiency in such areas as gas flow computation and SCADA telemetry applications, and are often able to decrease implementation costs by eliminating the need for stand-alone or RTU equipment.
