- Monitor solution for power generation: Monitoring is the first step in building a unified security & compliance management strategy that supports operational requirements.
- Manage solution for power generation: The Manage solution leverages security event and compliance management technology, along with automation system agents, to manage critical activity across a power generator’s infrastructure.
- Protect solution for power generation: Industrial Defender’s Protect solution delivers host intrusion prevention capabilities atop the functionality delivered via the Monitor and Manage solution bundles, and includes automation system agent technology.
Available as an on-site deployment or managed service, the Monitor solution is a security event management-based offering.
The bundle includes automation system agent technology, provides real-time security and health activity monitoring across systems, networks and applications, and allows customers to quickly discover and respond to events impacting security, compliance and operational efficiency.
The solution centrally analyzes device inventories, event logs, system configurations, software patch statuses and user accounts, and archives log and configuration files.
This data is then automatically transformed into accurate information that is available for daily operations support, system assessments and formal audits.
The Protect solution prevents malware and other suspicious software from compromising critical host systems.
The integration of these technologies provides power generators broader security situational awareness and the ability to correlate and associate events and responses across the automation system environments.
To supplement the capabilities included in the Monitor, Manage and Protect solutions, Industrial Defender offers additional technologies that enable organizations to gain real-time visibility into network activity, to enforce a hardened electronic security perimeter, and to implement secure authentication and access controls at remote sites.
The company also unveiled solution pricing based upon a site’s rated power generating capacity. Industrial Defender delivers three bundles of integrated technology to support sustainable security & compliance: Monitor, Manage & Protect. By pricing solutions on the basis of megawatts (MWs) of rated capacity per power generation site, customers may easily scale deployments on a site-by-site basis, and extend into fleet-wide security and compliance management strategies.
