The company signs agreements with five new distributors covering most of the South American continent.

Industrial Shields , the leading manufacturer of industrial devices based on open source hardware, continues its global growth by signing several distribution contracts that strengthens its presence in Colombia, Peru, Panama, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Brazil. In Colombia, the technology company has two new distributors. On the one hand, Isateck--developer of integrated solutions for service, food, construction and government industries--represents and markets a complete range of manufacturers of industrial automation products.

On the other hand, the company DOmatik, located in Medellin, is formed by a group of Colombian entrepreneurs who offer solutions for automation, monitoring and industrial control with the aim of maximizing productivity and reducing operational costs of their customers. In Peru and Panama, Tupunatron has joined the network of distributors. The Peruvian company, specialised in applications development and distribution of products related to automation, robotics, communications, weighing, equipment, sensors and metrology, sells Industrial Shields open source based controllers and touch screens in its area of influence. The Argentinean Grupo Global is a distributor in Argentina, Chile and Uruguay.

With more than 20 years of experience, this inland company is dedicated to the improvement of the productive processes of its clients. Finally, CLP Industrial, specialized in the development and installation of open source based solutions, commercializes Industrial Shields equipment in Brazil. CLP Industrial belongs to the company SOLARTOP Brasil Negócios Participaçoes Ltda., specialized in the renewable energies sector. With this expansion in the Latin American market, Industrial Shields continues its growth since, despite the Covid crisis, it has closed the last financial year with a 30 % increase in turnover.

As regards 2021, the company's goals are to multiply the growth of recent years, increase its product catalogue and expand its network of distributors worldwide.
