April 3, 2013 – Industrial Video and Control (IVC) announced FV-3532-01 hydrocarbon leak detection camera, which provides high quality thermal images and is designed to detect pipeline and tank leakages of a variety of hydrocarbon products including propane, gasoline, and diesel.

The camera can be programmed to monitor up to four detection zones. When it detects a leak, a contact closure results that can be used to send an alarm notification to IVC's camera management software and/or the customer's control system. In addition to providing the initial notification of a leak, the FV-3532-01 can provide visual confirmation of alarms from other leak detection devices. The thermal imager is housed in a rugged enclosure making the camera suitable for use in a wide range of weather conditions. Designed for use on oil and gas pipeline networks and at distribution terminals, the FV-3532-01 can be utilized within a video security system or tightly integrated and operated through a user's SCADA system.

IVC's Relay Server or Longwatch camera management products can be used to integrate live and stored video from this and other security and process monitoring cameras with either the customers' security or SCADA systems.
