OSCEOLA, WIS. - Bud Brown has joined Northwire, Inc. as director of new business development. Brown is an industry veteran, with 27 years in electronics - 14 of them in machine vision. "I'm eager to put my skills to work for Northwire and am pleased to be part of the team," says Brown.

Prior to that, Brown was a sales manager with Zercom Corporation, now also part of Nortech Systems, Inc. and a vice president with Ji-Haw Industrial Co., Ltd., a leading supplier of information technology and communication cords and connectivity in Taiwan, China and Thailand.
He also held sales or marketing positions with Deco Electronics and Hirose Electric U.S.A., Inc., a connector manufacturer in Simi Valley, Calif.
Brown began his career as a technical training coordinator with Force Electronics, a specialty distributor of interconnectors, located in Inglewood, (southern) California. Brown is a long-time member of the Automated Imaging Association (AIA) and a member of the Camera Link Committee.
