INSYS announces icom dashboard as part of v2.4 of INSYS monitoring app
The monitoring app enables monitoring of Siemens LOGO logic controllers, S7 control systems, and Modbus TCP and RTU devices that are connected to the routers.

August 17, 2016 – INSYS icom's monitoring app for IMON, EBW and MoRoS series routers is designed to allow users to directly visualize the current values of monitored control systems through the integrated icom dashboard, which is provided free of charge.

The monitoring app enables monitoring of Siemens LOGO logic controllers, S7 control systems, and Modbus TCP and RTU devices that are connected to the routers. Modbus TCP and so-called "application connectors" also put a comprehensive range of other protocols at their disposal. The icom dashboard can be used to visualise relevant values of monitored devices live on a browser screen. Simply entering the values to be observed in the monitoring app as usual suffices to make them available on the dashboard as well. No more than a few quick and easy steps are needed to define which data to display as text, HTML or graphical objects such as level indicators or control lights.

Users of the INSYS Connectivity Service ICS VPN or of a fixed router IP address can also directly call up the dashboard via an external link. INSYS icom also offers to create custom dashboard designs and configurations on request. Skilled users with programming experience can also customise the tool on their own, since the source code is openly available.

The icom dashboard is included in the current version 2.4.0 release of the monitoring app.
