February 17, 2015 -- Interface Concept introduces IC-FEP-VPX6b computer board. The 6U VPX FPGA processing board is powered by two Xilinx Virtex-7 and one QorIQ T1042 e5500 quad-core processor.
The IC-FEP-VPX6b is a VPX hybrid processing engine coupling the latest generations of FPGAs and processor, both of them providing a very high level of performance per watt. With its QorIQ processor for system management and a PCIe advanced switch to couple the processing nodes, the IC-FEP-VPX6b board expands the flexibility of the two Virtex-7 FPGAs and the VPX high bandwidth serial interfaces.
Two FMC mezzanine sites (VITA 57.1) allow connecting ADC, DAC, general IOs, video, sFPDP or additional FPGA FMC modules. It is available in air-cooled and conduction-cooled grades.
