The SyVox Speech IDK gives software developers full control for adding speech data collection to new or existing systems. The SyVox IDK is designed for use with standard development tools to enable developers to deploy speech applications at a fraction of the cost and time needed for existing voice-directed offerings. SyVox products are certified for use with the 700 Series Color Pocket PC mobile computers from Intermec.
The SyVox IDK does not require the use of middleware or a voice template server and can be developed for use over an 802.11b network or in batch mode for the field. It is a multimodal offering that supports bar code scanning, text display, key entry and RFID.The SyVox Speech IDK gives Intermec mobile computer users the option of reliable speech data input.
The software is designed to make it easy for developers to add speech input to a variety of applications, including picking and field inspections, where users value the convenience of hands-free data entry."
