WILMINGTON, N.C. (December 19, 2006) — Interroll Corporation has designed a heavy-duty conveyor roller specifically for the airport baggage handling industry. Designated the 1450 heavy-duty conveyor roller, the durable roller offers an economical solution for baggage handling conveyors. “The 1450 heavy-duty conveyor roller is designed to handle the constant loads and jostling of an airport baggage conveyor,” said Kim Hagan, Product Manager at Interroll.
“The roller is quiet, yet strong and is very economical when compared to other traditional heavy-duty rollers.”The 1450 heavy-duty conveyor roller is available in 3.5” x .120” steel tube, polyamide Interroll housings with ABEC 1 6205ZZ precision ground chrome steel ball bearings.
Shaft options include a .687” hex shaft and a robust 20mm diameter version that is end drilled and tapped for bolted construction.
