VANCOUVER, BC – January 23, 2008 – Wurldtech Security Technologies has been named by ISA as an approved service provider to support users of the newly launched Control Systems Cyber Security Self Assessment Tool (CS2SAT). The CS2SAT application, developed by Idaho National Labs (INL) as part of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Control System Security Program or CSSP, is an online tool that provides organizations that use SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and industrial control systems with a self-assessment tool for evaluating the security of the control system.
As part of a marketing and distribution agreement between the DHS and ISA, the ISA’s Automation Standards Compliance Institute has selected industry leaders such as Wurldtech to participate in implementation and support services for this newly launched tool. Wurldtech’s VP of Security Services, Bryan Singer, CISM, CISSP, Co-Chair of ISA SP99, who participated in the review and acceptance of this tool for the ISA, will lead the company’s support services efforts as one of the security experts selected to assist buyers to successfully implement the application.
