The CANopenRT software from IXXAT is a well thought-out protocol software package for the implementation of slave or master devices in accordance with the CANopen specification DS301, version 4.0.2.The software is specially designed for implementations where a real-time operating system is used. All operating system functions are abstracted by virtual operating system calls, which are compiled in a central module.
The CANopenRT software can thus be simply adapted to various operating systems.A special feature of the IXXAT CANopenRT software is the ability of several application processes to access the CANopen protocol stack.
