Jervis B. Webb names Margaret Murdock Executive Director

She is now responsible for leading all aspects of electrical controls, Automatic Guided Vehicle (AGV) product line engineering and customer service.

FARMINGTON HILLS, MICH. - September 11, 2007 - Jervis B. Webb Company named Margaret Murdock as executive director of automated systems and controls. In this role, she is responsible for leading all aspects of electrical controls, Automatic Guided Vehicle (AGV) product line engineering and customer service. Before joining the Webb Company, Murdock served as director of engineering for Michigan-based Pro-face America, which functions as the North American headquarters for Digital Electronics Corporation, a Japanese-based automation company.

There she was responsible for directing engineering, application engineering, product repair and customization, quality assurance and inside sales. Prior to that, she served as director of operations for Nematron Corporation, where she implemented a successful turnaround initiative through strategic planning and partnership with a global leader in contract manufacturing. Murdock received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Mich., and earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan School of Business in Ann Arbor, Mich., with an emphasis on corporate strategy, international business and operations management.

She currently resides in Dexter, Mich. Jervis B. Webb Company is a world leader in developing innovative material handling technology and systems. The privately owned corporation specializes in the design, engineering, installation and support of integrated systems used in the automotive, airport, beverage, warehousing and manufacturing industries.
