Giebson takes over from retired Managing Director Wolfgang Feucht, who remains in an advisory function after 50 years with the company.

August 11, 2015 - Knick appoints Jörg Giebson as Vice President Research and Development. Giebson – a long-standing employee of the Berlin-based measurement technology expert – had previously been in charge of developing Knick's “Interface” product line.

As new Vice President Research and Development, he takes over from retired Managing Director Wolfgang Feucht, who remains in an advisory function after 50 years with the company. In the wake of Feucht's retirement from operative responsibilities and the passing-away of the late Dr. Martin Knick, Giebson is the latest and final member of a new generation that has taken over the reins of the company's management.

“Mr Giebson is a profoundly skilled, trusted and experienced member of our team,” says CEO Marcus Knick. “We are very confident that as Vice President Research and Development he will help develop more of our innovative and supreme quality products, thus making an important contribution to the expansion of our growing business, at home and abroad.”
