The AKD platform supports Ethernet /IP, Profinet, EtherCAT, Modbus TCP, CANopen, SERCOS III, SynQnet, and TCP/IP.

January 31, 2016 - Kollmorgen releases AKD servo drives that support EtherNet /IP, Profinet, EtherCAT, Modbus TCP, CANopen, SERCOS III, SynQnet, and TCP/IP.

The 32kW drive is power dense, consuming only 576cm2 of panel space; the smallest drive in the AKD family, at 1kW, consumes only 99cm2. The AKD platform has a 0.67µs current loop, about 100x the industry-standard speed of 62.5µs.
