March 21, 2013 - Korenix announces JetPort 5804 Industrial 4-port RS232/422/485 Wireless Redundant Serial Device Server and JetPort 5804i, an RS-422/485 Wireless Serial Server. JetPort 5804 and JetPort 5804i feature a robust fiberglass Antenna and redundant to the devices (RTTD Technology) for high speed serial to 802.11b/g wireless data transmission. With the Din Rail Kit and Wall-mounting which have been equipped with and are designed to fit diverse range of equipment in the field. A fiberglass antenna has higher gains in comparison to a rubber antenna which enhance the quality of wireless connection.
With its robust features which are encased in UV- stable, that is water and dust resistant permits safe outdoor installation under the harshest of climates and situations. JetPort 5804 and 5804i feature with Redundant Ethernet paths (RTTD Technology). With RTTD, the redundant Ethernet ports can recover a link failure automatically in less than 200ms, as a result warrantying a non-stop connection. RTTD redundant Ethernet ports operate with the JetNet MSR redundant ring technology, JetPort 5804 and 5804i provide users a completely redundant solution from network infrastructure to the serial devices.
The JetPort 5804/5804i can be configured by the JetPort Commander, an easy-to-use utility for Windows, which covers all management, monitoring, and control functions for all of the JetPort families. 2KV isolation protection provides reliable communication channels over long transmission lengths or in rugged industrial environments.
