June 4, 2019 - Lanner announced the launch of NCR-1510 , a fanless network appliance optimized for SD-WAN or uCPE. Supporting an operating temperature range of -40°C to 70°C and fanless cooling, this offering will allow service providers to deploy the SD-WAN services in demanding environment and critical infrastructure.
Powered by Intel Atom C3000 (codenamed Denverton) CPU, the NCR-1510 features performance and Intel’s QuickAssist Technology running at 10Gbps, offering cryptographic acceleration and industrial-grade LAN functions. It is a fanless desktop network appliance for SD-WAN, uCPE or edge security gateway for enterprises.
Regarding I/O functionality, the NCR-1510 supports up to 16 GB of DDR4 2400MHz memory and 6x GbE RJ45 or x4 GbE RJ45 and 2x GbE SFP cages. For hardware root of security, NCR-1510 is also armed with secure boot, support for TPM 2.0.
In wireless connectivity, the NCR-1510 supports 1x M.2 B key 3042 for LTE, 2242 SSD (signal: USB3.0, SATA) with Nano-SIM; 2x Mini-PCIe for Wi-Fi,LTE (signal: USB2.0,PCIe) with Nano-SIM, allowing operators to install Wi-Fi/3G/4G LTE compatible modules and SIM cards, but also making available a variety in network interface options in terms of both wired and wireless Internet connections. In addition, the NCR-1510 comes with six antenna inputs, allowing signal receptions.
Designed for environmental ruggedness, NCR-1510 can withstand from -40 ºC to 70 ºC operating temperatures.
