Lenze appoints Dirk Watzke to run America

Watzke will be based in Chicago and is responsible for all Lenze operations outside of Europe including the USA, China and India.

May 8, 2015- Lenze Americas appointed Dirk Watzke, senior vice president, operations, to the Lenze Americas business leadership team. Watzke will be based in Chicago and is responsible for all Lenze operations outside of Europe including manufacturing and logistics centers in Glendale Heights, IL, USA; Uxbridge, MA, USA; Shanghai, China; and Khed Taluka, India.

“Dirk has proven to be a top leader at Lenze – he has achieved positions of increasing responsibility and has played a key role in Lenze’s growth over the last two decades, “ stated Chuck Edwards, president of Lenze Americas. “Dirk will be a strong asset to the Lenze Americas business leadership team – his successful track record and extensive knowledge of Lenze will help drive our new initiatives forward.”

Watzke joined Lenze nearly twenty years ago in the position of strategic purchasing and most recently served as senior vice president of international operations. He earned a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Rostock in Germany.
