Liam Power appointed to OPC Foundation Technical Advisory Council

The Technical Advisory Council advises the OPC Foundation Board of Directors on technical matters relating to the management of OPC specification development.

January 6, 2011 - Liam Power, Technical Director Embedded labs, has been appointed to the OPC Foundation Technical Advisory Council. Comprised in part of technical representatives from leading industrial automation vendors, the Technical Advisory Council advises the OPC Foundation Board of Directors on technical matters relating to the management of OPC specification development.Thomas Burke, OPC Foundation President said, "Embedded Labs' innovative products are driving the vision of the OPC Foundation of interoperability in automation. Liam Power's presence on the Technical Advisory Council will further support our vision of providing the best technology to enable companies to build products and services that truly demonstrate multi-platform multi-vendor secure reliable interoperability.
