Lighthammer Users Group Conference a Smashing Success

World’s leading manufacturers showcase their Lighthammer-based solutions before a record crowd

Exton, PA - September 20, 2004 Lighthammer announced today that its annual users conference exceeded all expectations with 200 customers, prospects, and partners in attendance. During the two-day event Lighthammer customers presented applications based on Lighthammer’s market-leading Collaborative Manufacturing Suite software. Representatives from Dow Corning, Whirlpool, Procter & Gamble, Colgate, Philips, Air Products, and INCO all presented compelling solutions to operational excellence challenges facing their businesses. SAP presented its Adaptive Manufacturing initiative and outlined the important role that Lighthammer serves in that initiative. AMR discussed their Supply Network Operations (SNO) model and positioned the significant role of Lighthammer products within the model.

Conference attendees included delegates from some of the world’s premier manufacturers representing a variety of industries including Aerospace and Defense, Food and Beverage, Consumer Products and Packaged Goods, Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, Engineered Products and Energy. The conference attendance more than doubled over last year’s event reflecting Lighthammer’s rapid growth and market adoption. “We’re pleased with the outstanding turnout which included customers from 5 continents representing almost 100 of the world’s leading manufacturers”, stated Russell Fadel, CEO of Lighthammer.

During the conference Lighthammer held its first Life Sciences Special Interest group meeting focused on the unique issues facing customers in highly regulated industries.
