LOGOMAT announces new configurations for E-Cart
The electrically-driven E-Cart is designed to handle the heavy loads associated with assembly operations, and with the new assembly-focused, anti-tip configurations it can remove the barriers found in traditional assembly layouts with vertical conveyors

July 13, 2016 - LOGOMAT automation systems, Inc. announced newly designed layouts and configurations of the LOGOMAT E-Cart to offer flexibility for assembly operations.

The configurations provide a plethora of tooling and work piece possibilities to suit the needs of engine assembly and similar operations that require complete access to a work piece, while keeping a low profile and walkable layout. The electrically-driven E-Cart is designed to handle the heavy loads associated with assembly operations, and with the new assembly-focused, anti-tip configurations it removes the barriers found in traditional assembly layouts with vertical conveyors, and opens the work area to provide clear access to both sides of the conveyor system for parts and supply retrieval or emergency situations.

The self-driven E-Carts retain all their normal capabilities in these configurations, and remain powered by the integrated 48v power rails within the conveyor frame. Flexible off-center tooling on the tip-protected, heavy-duty cart provides a plethora of electrically operated tooling possibilities to rotate or handle large pieces, like engine assemblies.

The E-Cart series is a modular electric transfer system that blends the benefits of AGVs and traditional roller conveyors to provide one electric conveyor system solution with high safety standards and flexibility.
