July 23, 2014 - Marsh Bellofram announced Type T289 industrial gas back pressure regulator. Type T289 offers dual functionality as both a back pressure regulator and high-flow relief valve with an adjustable set point. This versatility makes it particularly effective in the monitoring of air, nitrogen, natural gas, propane, and other industrial gases. The compact size of the Marsh Bellofram Type T289 allows it to be used in place of a standard relief valve for protection against over pressurization in the downstream system.
With its large diaphragm area and integral Pitot tube booster, the regulator can offer quick and smooth response to excessive pressure relief requirements, particularly within low-pressure settings.The simple design of the Type T289 allows for consistent high-reliability performance with high flow rates, throttling-type relief and tight shutoff. Optional regulator rebuild kits are also available.
