(TSX: MTK) and Umetrics Inc. today announced a partner agreement to provide a combination of software packages for the seamless installation of Process Analytical Technology (PAT) solutions for the pharmaceutical market. Umetrics and Matrikon will offer ProcessMonitor products for integration of Umetrics’ SIMCA-P+ and SIMCA-Batch On-Line data analysis products with manufacturing, process, analytical and laboratory information management systems. “For large-scale adoption by the life science industry of the FDA’s PAT initiative, the ability of our SIMCA-P+ and SBOL products to seamlessly collect, manage and analyze data from all sources of process and process-related data becomes essential,” explained Nouna Kettaneh, Umetrics general manager.
