October 4, 2011 - The latest release of the OPC Server for GE Turbines from MatrikonOPC now supports OPC Alarms and Events data. This addition provides engineers with access to both real-time and alarm and event data from their GE Turbines. Accessing and acknowledging turbine alarms and events is a crucial element for centralized management and trouble-shooting. This OPC server brings all your plant processes into a single window for simple management and troubleshooting by integrating the Turbine system with other automation components in the enterprise such as HMIs, Historians and ERP systems.
Features include:
- Direct connectivity to the GE Mark turbine controllers - eliminating the need for iDOS and GSM, greatly simplifying migrations to any modern HMI or Historian.
- Enables users to import controllers’ information from the TCI PC configuration files (Site’s configuration files).
- Supports process, diagnostic alarms, and logic events via simple OPC A&E.
